Wapello – services for John Charles Kramer, 55, who died following a one-day illness in Burlington hospital Saturday, wll be held at the Methodist church in Oakville Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 2:00 p.m. cst.

Kramer, a 50 year resident of Oakville, was born Jan. 7, 1910, in Gardner, Ill., the son of Charles and Anna Tibbles Kramer.

He married Verlee Susan Wykert in Aledo, Ill., June 20, 1932, who survives. Other survivors included five daughters, Susan Kramer, at home; Mrs. Rose Brees, Des Moines; Mrs. Gladys Gentry, Burlington; Mrs. Joan Gerst, Oakville; and Mrs. Mary Brown, Oakville. Also surviving are two sons, Charles of Lynnville, Iowa, and Don Kramer, Oakville; five sisters, four brothers and 15 grandchildren. A stepmother, Mrs. Johanna Kramer, Wapello, also survives.

The Rev. Richard Frederick is in charge, with burial in Edwards Cemetery near Oakville. The family will meet with friends between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. this evening at Dudgeon McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello.
