Z. MANHARDT DIED LAST EVENING ABOUT 10 O'CLOCK AT GRANDVIEW

FORMER RESIDENT OF THIS CITY

Had a Paralytic Stroke in This City a Year Ago Last April and the Results Finally Caused His Death - Interment in Greenwood.

From Thursday's Daily.

Having suffered from the results of a paralytic stroke since a year ago last April, Z. Manhardt, a resident of this city, passed away last night about 10 o'clock at his home there. Services will be held this afternoon and the remains will be brought to this city tomorrow morning on the 9 o'clock M.N. & S. passenger. The funeral cortege will meet the train and the remains will be taken to the Greenwood chapel where the short funeral service will be said, interment being made in Greenwood cemetery.

Z. Manhardt was 60 years of age and was an old resident of this city until about one year ago when he moved to Grandview where he has been residing ever since. He had always enjoyed the best of health until a year ago last April, when he was stricken with paralysis and since that time has been slowly sinking until last night when the end came. He was married twice, his first wife dying a number of years ago. He was united in marriage to his present wife, who survives him, about six years ago. Besides his wife he is survived by six children: Mrs. Sam Loveless, Mrs. Martha Fry, Fred and Mrs. Ida Mosher, all of this city, and Dan of Washington and Herman of Fairport; also two step-children, Mrs. W. L. White and William ___________.
