Archie L. Robison, 70, of Chrisman, Illinois, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2011, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman, Illinois, following a lengthy battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He was a retired construction worker.

He was born October 25, 1941, in Tremont, Illinois, the son of the late Leslie Ellis and Josephine (Garden) Robison. The family moved to Wapello, Iowa in 1946. He attended school there through his junior year in high school.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Matthew) Ellis of Chrisman, Illinois, and Shannon Robison of Clarksville, Tennessee; three sisters, Lida Miller of Little Canada, Minnesota, Barbara Harvey of Spring, Texas, and Helen Frese of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren, Sarah and Christopher Ellis both of Chrisman, Illinois.

Mr. Robison earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church of Paris, and enjoyed gardening and racing and training horses.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Cure PSP Society.

Following cremation, interment will be private in Wapello, Iowa. Templeton Funeral Home of Paris is in charge of arrangements.
