OBITUARY.

Miss Alice M. Le Boutillier was born in Minneapolis, Minn., June 27, 1862. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Le Boutillier. The father died when Alice was an infant. The mother died in 1895. Alice died at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. P. Fasset, of Hannibal, Mo., Wednesday afternoon, February 14, after a brief illness, aged 54 years. Thus ended the earthly life of a woman of a meek and quiet spirit, who always did what she could to make the world better by her sympathetic words and kindly acts. When the news of her death reached Morning Sun the feelings of her old friends were akin to that of the people of Joppa when the good woman Dorcas died, as recorded in the Scriptures: "All the widows stood by Him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was yet with them." The deceased was a consistent member of the First Presbyterian church of Morning Sun, having united with the this church at the age of 16 years, and she was for many years the church organist. She will be missed by many old friends. To mourn her loss are her sister, Mrs. E. P. Fassett; her brother, Charles V. Le Boutillier, of Burlington, and four nieces and two nephews. Funeral services were held at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Fassett, in
Hannibal, Mo., Friday afternoon, February 16, at 3 o'clock. Interment was made in Mount Olivet cemetery.

Note: She is listed in the Elmwood Cemetery (Morning Sun) records
