Mrs. Grant Nichols attended the funeral of her aunt, Mrs. Anna Bachman, last rites for whom were held in Waterloo last Friday. Mrs. Bachman, the former Anna Congrove, died at a Waterloo hospital on December 3. Born in Morning Sun on May 8, 1867, she was married to John Bachman who died in 1937. She is survived by four sons, two sisters, Mrs. Kittie Windmiller of Des Moines and Mrs. Ola Marshall of Washington D.C. and one brother, Carles Congrove, of Chicago, all of whom attended the funeral services (in Waterloo).
