MRS. MARY CODER DIES AT LETTS

Letts, Ia., Aug. 3 - Mrs. N. G. Coder, aged 77, a long time resident of Louisa county, died at her home in this city at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, in charge of the Rev. C. E. Winters. Burial will be in the Letts cemetery and the pallbearers will be Floyd and Arthur Lieberknecht, Earl Dickerson, Roy Hildebrand, Fred Fry and H. E. Gipple.

Mary Charles was born in Lancaster, Pa., March 16, 1852, coming to Louisa county with her parents when a young girl. She was married near Wapello to N. G. Coder in 1872, and their home has been in Louisa county since.

She is survived by her husband; five children, J. Quincy, and Bert Coder of Lakota, Ia., who will arrive tonight, Mrs. H. E. McCarmac, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Garth Morgan, Rapid City, S. D., and Nellie Coder at home; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Kirkwood and Mrs. Ida Marshall of San Diego, Calif., and a brother, Joe Charles of Wapello.
