Danny L. Wonders

Danny Lee Wonders, 59, of Wapello died Tuesday morning, November 30, 2010 at his home. The son of Herbert C. and V. Iris Knight Wonders, he was born on December 30, 1950 in Muscatine.

He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

His family includes three brothers, Paul Wonders of Wapello, Greg Wonders of Thorn Baye, Alaska, and Tim Wonders of Wapello; four sisters, Geri VanDolah of Wapello, Sophronia Jarrard of Slidell, Louisiana, Cheryl Hamilton of Morning Sun, and Jeanne Wonders of Wapello; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister.

Cremation was completed.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 6 at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello with the Rev. Paul Hooks officiating. Burial followed in the Wapello Cemetery with military rites.
