Patricia Mae ‘Pat’ Snyder, age 68, of Muscatine, Iowa, died Saturday morning August 21, 2010, at her son’s residence where she lived. The daughter of Emmel and Hilda Kane Browning, she was born on January 9, 1942 at Andalusia, Iowa. She married Ronald Berry and later married Farrel ‘Pete’ Snyder on November 28, 1986. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2002.

Pat attended Letts High School. She worked at various locations including Model Laundry, Louis Rich, and most recently at Iowans For Tax Relief.

She enjoyed sewing and working crossword puzzles.

Pat is survived by four children: Carol Dipple of Grandview, Bill Berry of Muscatine, Bonnie and Dan Krogstad of Letts, and Jim Snyder of Muscatine; two step-children, Mike Snyder of Fresno, California and Pamela Snyder Carlson and Brian of Sacramento, California; nineteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Larry Browning of Muscatine and Ted Browning of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete; and a sister, Nancy Conaway.

Cremation has been selected and a graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at the Conesville Cemetery.

No visitation is planned.

The Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello is providing the care and arrangements for Pat Snyder.
A Memorial Fund has been established for the Iowa City Hospice.
