Grandview Resident Dead.

Frank Beck, an old resident of Grandview, passed away at the county farm home Monday, March 13th, after an illness of about one year. His death was due to rheumatism and dropsy. He was born in Pennsylvania September 18th, 1846, and was aged 69 years, 5 months and 25 days at the time of his death. Deceased was one of a family of twelve, of which only one, Mrs. Gallop of Indianapolis, Ind., survives. A brother, Robert Beck, a resident of Wapello, died last year.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the M.E. church conducted by Rev. H.W. Cannon with interment in Grandview Cemetery.
