A death which brought with it the deepest sorrow was that which occurred last evening when the useful life of Mrs. John Callahan came to a close. Her death occurred at the home at 1608 Orange street and followed a five weeks' illness with anaemia. Last week the young woman, who was loved by all who knew her, became critically ill and her life was despaired of at that time but at the close of the week she appeared to be improving again. Mrs. Callahan was a bride of less than a year and her untimely departure is a severe blow to her husband, who is well known in local business circles.
