Funeral services for 59 year old Donna Marie Wheeler of Muscatine, Iowa was held on Wednesday, May 22, 1996 at 10 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Donna died on Saturday at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. a memorial has been established at the funeral home. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery, rural Wapello.

Donna Marie Johnson was born April 28, 1937 in Iowa City, Iowa to Glen and Emily Busch Johnson Sr. She married Jesse Wheeler Sr. September 25, 1954 in Muscatine. Donna was affiliated with the Sycamore Baptist Church, Muscatine. Donna had worked for the past 8 years with the United Vending Food Service.

Donna is survived by her husband, Jesse Wheeler Sr. Muscatine. There are two daughters, Mrs. James (Rebecca) Blodgett, Columbus Junction, Patricia Wheeler, Muscatine. Four sons, Jessie Wheeler Jr., Columbus Junction, James Wheeler, and Thomas Wheeler both of Muscatine, Kenny Wheeler, Columbus Junction. There are 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Donna has four brothers, John, Charles, Harry and Glen Jr. Johnson, all of Muscatine. Also serviving are six sisters, Mrs. Erma Jean Jacobs, Mrs. Sandy Campbell, Mrs. Carolyn Freyermuth, Mrs. Charlotte Reifert and Mrs. Mary Ann Brown, all of Muscatine. Mrs. Mina Suhl of Clarissa, Minnesota. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Sharon Kaye Musgrove and Carol Cubbage both in 1995.
