GRANDVIEW RESIDENT DIES AT DAVENPORT

MRS. ED GAMBLE PASSES AWAY AFTER OPERATION.

Death Occurred Last Evening at Davenport Hospital - Funeral at Grandveiw Tomorrow.

Grandview, Ia., Oct. 21 - (Special) - The body of Mrs. Ed Gamble of this place, who passed away last evening at Mercy hospital at Davenport, will arrive here this evening at 8 o'clock. Mrs. Gamble had been a patient at the Davenport hospital for eight weeks. She underwent an operation when she went to the hospital eight weeks ago and underwent a second operation last Saturday from the effects of which she never recovered. She was 35 years of age at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband and by a son and a daughther. The latter, Mrs. Boyce Dickerson is critically ill at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Lina Martin, and has not yet been informed of her mother's death. The son, Noah, lives at home. Mrs. Gamble is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Martin, by one brother H.O. Martin and by one sister, Mrs. W.D. Jackson all of this place.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Methodist Episcopal church. Reverend D.R. Bartlett, pastor of the church will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Grandview cemetery.
