FLOYD GRAHAM DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

Passed Away at Burlington Hospital Yesterday.

DEMISE DUE TO APPENDICITIS

Funeral Services Will Be Held From the M.E. Church Friday at 2 o'clock Conducted by Rev. E. C. Brooks.

Our community was shocked and pained yesterday to learn of the death of Floyd Graham, which occurred at the hospital in Burlington, Wednesday morning at four o'clock. Floyd was operated on at the University hospital in Iowa City, last spring for appendicitis and never fully recovered though even his near relatives and friends did not realize the severity of his disease. He was taken suddenly ill Monday evening after returing home from the Princess theatre, where he was employed as machine operator. Doctors were immediately summonded and everything possible was done by physicians and relatives to relieve the pain, but to no avail. On Tuesday evening at 9:30 he was removed to the Burlington hospital, but sank rapidly and passed away the next morning at 4:10. The remains were brought to his late home in Wapello, yesterday afternoon.

Floyd Graham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Graham, was born on a farm near Wapello, September 9th, 1885, and was aged at the time of his death 27 years, 2 months and 1 day. He moved to Wapello with his parents several years ago and was for some time employed in the Archibald panitorium. For the past several months he has been operating the moving picture machine in the Princess theatre. He was popular among a large circle of friends and a general favorite in the home. His death is mourned by all who knew him. His parents, brothers and sisters have the heartfelt sympathy all in their bereavement.

The funeral services will be..........
