Doris M. Conard, 63, of Winfield, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 1989, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.

Born June 8, 1925, in Jamesville, Wis., she was the daughter of Harold and Sarah Keegan Honts. She married Orval "Shorty" Conard June 17, 1944, in Winfield.

She had been employed with Johnson Chevrolet, Winfield, for many years and with the People's State Bank, Winfield, for more than 20 years. She was a 1943 graduate of Winfield High School. She was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are her husband; and one daughter, Beth Ann Conard, Cedar Rapids.

Visitation was Monday evening at the Honts Funeral Home, Winfield.

The service for Mrs. Conard was held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Winfield Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Edwars officiating. Burial was in Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
