Mina Ellen Luckenbill, 94, of Mediapolis, died July 19, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Nov.19, 1895, in Cairo, she was the daughter of Thomas and Ella Jane VanHorn Boden. She married Roy Creelman on Feb. 12, 1919, in Columbus City. He died Jan.30, 1952. She then married Ben Luckenbill on April 12, 1956 in Mediapolis. He died May 15, 1963.

She was a member of first Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Woman's Association, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Study Club, all of Mediapolis, the Rebekahs of Wapello, and was a member and past matron of the White Star Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen (Evan) Wilson, Mediapolis; a son Marvin Creelman, Mediapolis, a sister, Letha Hall, Washington; seven grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation was Sunday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, Mediapolis.

The service for Mrs. Luckenbill was at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church in Mediapolis, with the Rev. Dick Reynolds officiating. Burial was at Kossuth Cemetery.

A memoriial has been established.
