Mrs. Claudia Davis Called By Death

Mrs. Claudia Davis died at 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 1977, at the Washington County Hospital Long Term Care Center at the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 2 days.

She was born November 12, 1890 at Williamsburg, the daughter of Samuel and Martha Davis Evans. She married Rees Davis on September 10, 1924 in Washington.

She is survived by one son, Donald Davis of Columbus Junction, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Davis of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband on December 30, 1976and by one brother.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Salem Welsh United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Darrel Robertson officiating. Music was by Mrs. Harold Rees and Mrs. Roger Davis. Casket bearers were Alfred Davis, Howell Rees, Kenneth Fuller, Romie Davis, Everette Davis and Lloyd Howsare.

Burial was in the Cambrian Cemetery in charge of the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home
