Lee Darrah

Lee B. Darrah, 82, of Reno, Nev., died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1987 in Reno. A native of Wapello, he was born Aug. 25, 1906.

He was a postal clerk and had worked for Commercial Hardware for five years. He was a member of the Shriners, the Scottish Rite Bodies, the Reno Masonic Lodge 13 and the National Rifle Association.

Surviving are his wife Carol and one brother, Kenneth Darrah, Reno; two sons, James Darrah, Washoe Valley, Nev., and Lee Darrah Jr., Las Vegas, Nev., two brothers, David Darrah, Anderson, Calif, and Wayne Darrah, Seaton, Ill., one sister, Gladys Clark, Monmouth, Ill.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two nephews.

The service for Mr. Darrah was held Aug. 29 at Walton Funeral Home, Reno. Burial was in the Masonic Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

A memorial was established for the Shriners’ Hospital for Crippled Children, 1701 19th Ave., San Francisco, Calif. 94122.
