Daryl O. Bitting Rites Friday

Daryl O. Bitting, died Wednesday, December 15 at University hospital, Iowa City, following surgery.

He was born June 28, 1918 at Keota in Washington County, the son of Pearl and Cora Anderson Bitting. He had been a resident of Colubus City the past 18 years.

He married Iris Cutkomp, Marach 29, 1941 at Kahoka Missouri.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronny and Terry, both students at State College of Iowa, Cedar Falls; two brothers, Marlen, Crawfordsville, and Wayne, Tucson, Arizona; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Bitting, Crawfordsville.

The funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Stacy Funeral Home.

Rev. Earl Josten will officiate.

Burial will be at the Columbus City cemetery.
