Charles Blanchard Called By Death

Charles Calvin Blanchard, 89, retired Wapello farmer, died Saturday night, September 1, 1962 in Muscatine general hospital.

Mr. Blanchard was born March 4, 1873, in Putnam Co., Missouri and was married to Olive Fitzsimmons on February 20, 1902 in Louisa County.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Edith Blanchard, Keokuk, Mrs. Bessie Bates, Wapello; Mrs. Nellie Wilson, Morning Sun, Marion C. Blanchard, Burlington, Edwin Blanchard, Wapello, Mrs. Dorothy Ringer, Marseilles, Mrs. Mary Dotson, Wapello, Robert Blanchard, Wapello and Richard Blanchard, Iowa City.

Services were Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Dudgeon-McCulley chapel in Wapello the Rev. Donald Ross officiating. Burial in Wapello cemetery.
