Former Resident of This Community Dies At Chicago Recently

Mrs. Lewis Bollinger, 92, former resident of Wapello, died June 26 at Chicago after a week's illness. She had been in failing health the past few months. She would have observed her 93rd birthday anniversary had she lived until August.

Survivors are two sons, Chester of Chicago, with whom she made her home, and Francis, whose whereabouts are not known here. Mr. Bollinger preceded her in death five years ago.

The family left Wapello about 1905 after selling their farm southeast of town.

Funeral services and burial were in Chicago.
