WAPELLO -- Howard Tisor, 64, died Thursday at 1:15 a.m. in Veterans hospital, Iowa City.

He was born Oct. 20, 1892, in Louisa County, the son of James Austin and Ellen Hartsock Tisor. He married Hazel Reynolds at Muscatine July 17, 1918.

Surviving are his wife; four children, Floyd, Wilbur, Maurice, Mrs. Violet McKillip, all of Muscatine; 10 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; three brothers, Clarence, Wapello, Raymond and Albert, Muscatine. Three brothers and two sisters are dead.

Services will be held at the Dudgeon funeral home in Wapello Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Buntenbach will officiate. Burial will be in Parsons Cemetery near Oakville.
