Muscatine, Ia. - Mrs. Gladys Fernwood Plumb Wall, R.R. No. 1, Letts, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 1949 in University Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa after having been a patient there since April 8.

She was born Sept. 8, 1897, in Morning Sun, lived in Davenport several years and then moved to Muscatine. Gladys married Stephen A Plumb August 31, 1917 in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Mr. Plumb died in 1940. She was married Oct. 22, 1943, to Arthur V. Wall in Davenport.

Survivors include her husband, two sons by a previous marriage, Phillip and Kenneth Plumb, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Carter, Oakdale, Iowa, and Miss Gwendolyn Plumb, Muscatine; two sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Edwards, Morning Sun, and Mrs. Marvel Wilson, Galena, Ill.; three brothers, Lloyd Kerr, Davenport, Jesse, of Albia, and Randall, of Burlington; her father, Jesse Kerr, and two grandchildren.

The body is in the Fairbanks funeral home from which it will be taken to Fairmount Chapel in Davenport at 11 a.m. Monday for services at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow in the Davenport crematorium.
