Emma CRESWELL dies August 31

Emma Mildred CRESWELL, 68, died of natural causes in her Wapello home Tuesday, August 31.

Services were held Friday, September 3, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral home. The Rev. Gordon Watson officiated and burial was at the Wapello Cemetery.

The daughter of John and Lola KECK-ELLIOTT, she was born September 9, 1913, in Deep River. She married Stanley CRESWELL July 28, 1939, in Wapello.

Mrs. CRESWELL was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband; one son, John of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Kenneth and Gordon ELLIOTT, both of Wapello; and one sister, Lola ASHLAND of Wapello.

Two brothers preceded her in death.
