Lacy SINES dies at home

Lacy L. SINES, 78, of Ainsworth, died at his home Wednesday, June 29, 1988. He had been in failing health since November.

Services were held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home, Washington, with Rev. J. Barry Shatzer officiating. Burial was in Oregon Township Cemetery.

Masonic rites were conducted Friday at 7 p.m.

He was born February 3, 1910, near Brighton, a son of Henry and Minnie STOVER-SINES. He attended Walnut School in Washington County.

He married Florence FARRIER on February 18, 1933, in Memphis, Missouri.

Mr. SINES was a former businessman in Ainsworth, and worked in welding, siding and roofing. He also worked as a custodian at Ainsworth School

He was a past master of the Masonic Lodge of Ainsworth and a Shriner. Mr. SINES belonged to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors are his wife, Florence of Ainsworth; a 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Perry, Mechanichsville; D. L. (Dutch), Solon; and Arthur, Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters.
