Mrs. Berta Wright Married.

Denver Colo., Aug. 20. - Mrs. Berta Wright, formerly of Burlington and Wapello, Ia., who shot and killed her husband, John A. Wright and was aquitted, was married last night to William Fay, a merchant here. An effort was made to keep the marriage a secret.

Fay met Mrs. Wright during her trial. Her case aroused his sympathy and soon after she was acquitted they became close friends.

The ceremony was performed by the same clergyman who conducted the funeral services for her first husband. The only witness was her son, Neal Wright, who testified during the murder trial that he shot his father while attempting to take the revolver away from his mother.

Judge Ben B. Lindsey of the Juvenile Court recently was adjudged guilty of contempt because he refused to testify at Mrs. Wright's trial what Neal Wright had "confidentially" told him regarding the shooting.
