AGED PAIR TO MAKE FUTURE HOME IN GRANDVIEW.

Well known Residents Embark Upon Matrimonial Seas Again - Groom Prominent Lumberman.

Grandview, Ia., Aug. 1. - (Special.) - A marriage of unusual interest to local residents took place at Wapello yesterday when John Schaefer, 73 years old, and Mrs. G. Schleichert, 60 years of age, were married. The groom resides near Letts, while the bride lives here. The aged pair will make Grandview their future home.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Froechle, pastor of the German Methodist church of Wapello, at the residence of Phillip Richely.

Mr. Schaefer was prominently identified with lumber interests here, having conducted one of the largest lumber businesses here about ten years ago. For the past several years he has lived with his son near Letts.
