VERY QUIET AFFAIR

Marriage of Miss Emma Beck and Frank Jackson Mull.

TOOK PLACE WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

Friends Were Not Aware That Young People Had Been Married - Will Live in South Muscatine - Rev. Preston Performed Ceremony.

The many friends of Miss Emma Beck and Frank Jackson Mull will be interested to know that these young people were quietly married Wednesday evening by Rev. B.C. Preston, pastor of the Congregational church, at the C. R. Zeidler home on West Sixth stree. So deftly was the affair arranged that even the most intimate friends of the contracting parties were not aware that the event had taken place. The young people went to the Zeidler home where the ceremony took place and later in the evening attended a card party at the home of a friend not disclosing their secret.

Both young people are well known in the city and while the date of their marriage was kept a secret from their friends the event was not unexpected. Their large circle of acquaintances and friends will now extend heartiest congratulations. They will reside on Oregon street in part of the Beck residence, where they will be at home to their friends.
