Letts Record: We have the pleasure this week of announcing the marriage of Miss Gertrude B. Hafner, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N.T. Hafner, of near Cranston, to Mr. Ernst W. Lieberknecht, eldest son of Mr. Henry Lieberknecht, east of Letts. The wedding occurred at the home of the bride's parents at 7:30 o'clock on Monday evening, October 30th, 1911, Rev. T.F. Barker of the M.E. church of Letts, officiating. After the ceremony Mr. Lieberknecht and wife left on a wedding tour to Chicago and other points of interest, after which they will return home and begin life on the farm of the groom's father, the two gentlemen, father and son, having formed a partnership. The Record joins its best wishes with a mulititude of admiring friends in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Lieberknecht all the happiness which their present prospects suggests for a long and pleasant wedded life. Personally, these two young people conform to that which embraces the highest type of early man and womanhood and enjoy the confidence and respect of the entire community.
