Miss Winifred Lucy Shellabarger Becomes the Bride of Arthur Leiberknecht.

Letts, Ia., Jan. 6. - (Special) - A marriage which united the lives of two of Letts' most prominent young people took place Wednesday evening at the home of L. U. Gipple, when Miss Winifred Lucy Shellabarger, the daughter of Mrs. Mary Shellabarger, was married to Arthur Leiberknecht, the son of Henry Leiberknecht, one of the most prominent agriculturists in this section.

The ceremony took place at 7 o'clock, being performed by Rev. C. J. Stark of the United Brethren church.

The wedding was a very quiet affair, only the immediate relatives of the bride being present. Mr. and Mrs. Leiberknecht left Thursday evening for Burlington, where they intended to purchase the furnishings for their new country home south of town.

The bride, who is one of the most popular young women of Letts, is well known as a teacher, having taught in the Hawkeye school near Letts and in the graded schools at Kinross. The groom is a graduate of Ames college and a successful young farmer.
