FILES DIVORCE PETITION

Lola Rexrode Says That Her Husband Has Threatened Her Life.

From Tuesday's Daily.

Claiming that her husband, Willis C. Rexrode, has threatened her and that her life is in jeopardy from alleged cruel and inhuman treatment; also claiming that her husband is guilty of statutory offenses, Lola M. Rexrode has filed a petition in the district court asking for a divorce.

The petition which was filed late yesterday afternoon alleges that they were married December 6, 1899, and that they have lived together as husband and wife for several years.
She claims that he was grossly cruel to her during their married life.

She alleges that he slapped her in the face and that at different times he threatened her. He also choked her, so the petition says, and called her all manners of vile names and accused her. She asks that the custody of their one child be given to her and that she may have an absolute divorce with judgment for costs against the defendant.
