Grandview, Ia., - A delightful surprise pre-nuptial shower was given in honor of Miss May Hohenadel, who will soon become the bride of O.E. Metzger, at the home of Miss Gertrude Connor in Grandview. The affair was also in the nature of a reunion of the class of 1915 of the Grandview High school, of which the guests and Miss Hohendadel were members.

The rooms of the home were tastefully decorated in crimson and white, the old class colors, and the evening hours were spent in a delightful manner with appropriate games and contests, and a short informal musical program was offered. In conclusion an elaborate two course tray luncheon was served. The honoree received many beautiful gifts in honor of the occasion.

Those who attended the affair were: Professor L.W. Taylor of Grinnell, Iowa, Vera Krahl, Grace and Mabel Kemp, Fanny Kuder, Edwin McGrew, Mary Rexroth, Louie Wier, Lulu and Earl Walker, Genevieve Dumphy, Ruth Gast, Leonard Woodruff of Mediapolis, Iowa, and May Hohenadel and O.E. Metzger.
