A quiet wedding ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's grandfather, Elias Michaels at Grandview, Iowa, yesterday at high noon, when Miss May Hohenadel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Hohenadel became the bride of Oba Metzger, son of Mrs. Sarah Metzger of Harthorn, Missouri, the Rev. Leander Smith, pastor of the church of the Brethren of Muscatine, performing the ceremony. Both young people are from Muscatine. Miss Orpha Hohenadel, a sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and Ray Schaefer of Letts, Iowa, was the groom's attendant.

The bride's gown was a beautiful creation of white voile and laces and she carried a shower bouquet of cream rose buds.

Immediately after the ceremony an elaborate four-course wedding dinner was served the fifty-six guests in attendance. The tables were beautifully arranged with clusters of white carnations, roses and ferns for the occasion. The rooms of the home were also arranged with white weddign bells, festoonings and cut flowers.

The bridal couple left after the dinner for a wedding trip throughout Missouri. They will make their home in Harthorn, Missouri.

Muscatine people who attended the wedding were Rev. and Mrs. Leander Smith, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. G. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Hohenadel and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Smith.
