Two o'clock Wednesday afternoon a quiet and very pretty wedding took place at the J.P. Ahlman home on Washington avenue, when Miss Ella Jenny Ahlman, daugther of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Ahlman, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to William L. Arihood of Grandview, Iowa. Only a very few intimate friends and relatives were privileged to be present when Rev. A.W. Ross performed the nuptials.

The young couple were attended by Mrs. O. Tilloch, of Walnut Grove, a sister of the bride, and Clay A. Arihood of Grandview, Ia., the groom's brother.

The bride was most becomingly attired in a blue silk gown and carried white roses, while the bridesmaid wore a neat dress of white voile, and also carried white roses. The rooms of the Ahlman home made a very attractive appearance in their array of a variety of pink and white flowers. After the ceremony a bountiful dinner was served to the guests. Mr. and Mrs. Arihood then left on an extended wedding trip, after which they will start housekeeping in their home at Grandview, where the groom is one of the proprietors of a button factory.

Miss Ella Ahlman is a young lady who is well known in this city to a large circle of friends. The young man in this happy event is a prosperous business man in his home town, known for his honesty and ability to make friends. The newly wedded couple will be home to their friends at their residence at Grandview after Sept. 1st. The Free Press wishes them a long and happy journey through life together.
