AUGUST LEMKAU WEDS MISS MINNIE MCGILL

A delightful home wedding was that of Miss Minnie McGill and August Lemkau, which took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.P. McGill, 213 Dillaway street, Wednesday afternoon. The young people took their place beneath a large wedding bell, to the strains of a wedding march played by Mrs. E. Corell, sister of the groom. Miss Pearl McGill, sister of the bride, was brides-maid and Curtis Foster, best man. A beautiful but simple ring service was performed by the Rev. L.E. Kettlekamp, pastor of the German Methodist Episcopal church.

The decorations were in perfect accordance, consisting of roses, chrysanthemums and ferns. The parlor was adorned in colors of green and white and the dining room in pink and white.

The bride was lovely in a gown of white satin with pearl trimmings. She wore a beautiful tulle veil and carried a large bouquet of white roses. The bride's maid was attired in a pink gown with shadow-lace trimmings. After congratulations were extended a delicious three course wedding dinner was served.

The groom is the son of J. Lemkau of Grand avenue. They will go to housekeeping at once in a beautifully furnished home on Grand avenue. Sixty intimate friends and relatives were in attendance including a number from out of town.
