Phillip Wagner, a farmer residing near Letts, lost four fingers of his right hand Monday when his hand became caught in the cogs of a corn shredder. The accident occurred at about 10 o'clock. He was brushing aside some of the shredded corn when his hand was drawn into the cogs. Dr. Eland of Letts, was called and rendered prompt medical attention. The injured man was later removed to a Muscatine hospital for treatment.
