A VERY BEAUTIFUL OUTDOOR WEDDING

Inez Neal and G.W. McKay United in Marriage

CEREMONY BY REV. BARKER

Nuptials Occurred at Bride's Home Near Letts Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. - Will live at Jacksonville, Florida

A wedding which was of especial interest to Wapello people, occurred on Wednesday aafternoon, when Miss Inez Louise Neal became the bride of Dr. G. W. McKay, of Chicago. The ceremony took place at the country home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Neal, near Letts, Iowa and was attended only by the members of the family, near relatives and intimate friends of the bride. The ceremony though simple, was singularly impressive.

At half-past four in the afternoon, when the out-of-doors is at its loveliest, the bride and groom took their places in the garden under a dainty bower of green and gold, formed of Nature's own decorations of golden-rod and green ferns, and here the simple words were said that made them man and wife. Rev. Barker, of Letts, performed the wedding ceremony, using the ring service, and Mrs. Clyde Gearhart, of Wapello, played the wedding march. The bride was attired in a dainty gown of white silk crepe, made en traine, and carried bride's roses. Following the ceremony, a dainty three-course luncheon was served, which consisted of chicken, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, coffee and rolls, stuffed tomatoes, wafers and cheese, ice cream, cake and after dinner mints. The luncheon was served by Miss Jackson, Mrs. Joe Neal, Misses Fae and Nellie Neal.

Dr. and Mrs. McKay left on the evening train for a short visit at the home of his parents in Chicago, after which they will go to their new home in Jacksonville, Florida.
