MCGREW-CALLAHAN NUPTIALS CELEBRATED THIS MORNING.

This morning at 9:30 o'clock at the St. Mary's Catholic church at nuptial mass was celebrated the nuptials of Miss Ruby McGrew and John J. Callahan by the Rev. father F.J. Leonard, pastor of the St. Matthias church. Miss Jeanette Callahan acted as the bridesmaid while Henry E. Fayle served the groom as best man. As the bridal party entered the church, Lohengrin's wedding march was delightfully rendered by Miss Eda Critzz, and at the conclusion of the ceremony, a vocal solo, Schubert's "Serenade" was oered by I.M. Walker. At the offertory, Mr. Walker gave in a beautiful manner, Millard's "Ave Maria." Mendelssohn's wedding march was rendered as the bridal party left the church. The bride was becomingly gowned in a pretty creation of white crepe de chien with trimmings of point lace and made entrain. She wore a long tulle veil gracefully caught in place with sweet peas, and carried a large shower bouquet of cream roses. Her bridesmaid wore a dress of pale blue satin and a white picture hat. She carried pink roses.

Immediately after the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Callahan, 601 Woodlawn avenue, there being about one hundred guests present, including a large number from out of town. At twelve o'clock an elaborate six course dinner in which the table decorations had been prettily carried out in the wedding colors of pink and white. Pink and white carnations were used in the rooms and on the table in the floral decorations.

A large number of beautiful presents received by the newly married young couple gave evidence of the high esteem in which both are held by their numerous friends. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew McGrew, of Grandview, and has for a number of years made her home in this city. The groom is a valued employee of the Citizens Railway and Light company.

Mr. and Mrs. Callahan will be at home to their many friends after the twenty-fourth of this month at 1608 Orange street.
