MRS. WM. WALKER OF GRANDVIEW DEAD

PASSED AWAY YESTERDAY MORNING AT 7 O'CLOCK.

Never Recovered From Effects of An Operation Performed in Chicago About a Month Ago.

Mrs. William Walker of Grandview died yesterday morning at 7 o'clock at her home in that city after an illness of some months duration. Mrs. Walker underwent an operation about a month ago in Chicago, from the effects of which she never recovered. Every possible effort was made to save her life, but she gradually declined since her return from the hospital in Chicago until death claimed her yesterday morning. She was about fifty years of age and has lived in Louisa county all her life. The family moved to Grandview about a year or so ago, after having conducted the Louisa county poor farm for a number of years. The deceased was a much beloved woman among her friends and relatives and her death is mourned by all who knew her. She leaves in addition to her now bereaved husband, five children, three sons and two daughters, as follows: Harry, Chester and Frank; Miss Vera and Mrs. Kelly Beik. Mrs. Walker was known in this city.
