Two prominent young people of Louisa county were united in marriage last Thursday evening at the home of Rev. Jesse Huddle, near Grandview, when Miss Pearl Faye Shellabarger and Mr. J.D. Newell were united in the bonds of holy wedlock by Rev. Huddle. The wedding came as a distinct surprise to their hosts of friends in this county who hastened to extend congratulations when their marriage became known. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Shellabarger of Letts and is a chaming and talented young lady. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Newell and one of the county's most progressive and energetic young farmers, taking more than usual interest in modern agricultural methods. Mr. and Mrs. Newell will go to house-keeping on the grooms's fram in Concord township and the best wishes of their many friends is extended to them for a long, happy wedded life.
