A very quiet wedding was solemnized at the U.B. Parsonage in Muscatine last Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Mildred McColm became the bride of LeRoy Hovarter. The bride's sister, Miss Lois McColm and Mahlon Parsons accompanied them. Mrs. L. F. McColm, the mother of the bride, witnessed the ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony the couple departed overland for the groom's home at Helmar, Indiana, where they will visit ten days, before returning to Letts, where Mr. Hovarter is superintendent of the schools.

Mrs. Hovarter has lived in this vicinity all her life and is loved by a host of friends for her charming personality, she is well fitted to grace this new home.

Mr. Hovarter has won himself the respect and friendship of the entire community since he has been in Letts.
