This community was surprised last week to hear of the marriage of Miss Josephine Torbert and Mr. Charles Paris, which occurred last Thursday at the parsonage of the Prebyterian church. The Rev. W. R. Coventry performed the ceremony.

This is one of the most popular young couples in the community. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Torbert, and is a very winsome young lady. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Paris and is a young man of industrious and very exemplary habits. He is assisting his father on their farm across the river, where the young couple will be at home to their of host of friends.

We will take pleasure in adding our congratulations and best wishes to those of their host of friends.
