Monday evening, October 30, 1911 at 7:30 p.m. took place the marriage of Ernst W. Leiberknecht and Miss Gertrude B. Hafner, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. T. Hafner of near Cranston, Iowa. The near relatives only witnessing the ceremony which was performed by Rev. T.F. Baker, pastor of the M. E. Church. Immediately after the ceremony and congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Leiberknecht left on a wedding tour to Chicago. On their return they will be at home to their friends on the farm of the groom's father, Henry Leiberknecht, the two having formed a partnership.
