Albert C. Berry, 73, of Route 2, Marion, died Wednesday morning at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar rapids, following a short illness.

He was born Jan. 27, 1910, near Marion and lived in the area his entire life. He farmed until retiring in 1980.

Mr. Berry attended First United Methodist Church of Marion and was a farmer of the Linn County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include two nieces.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Murdoch Funeral Chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Dick Watkins. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 3 p.m. today. Friends may contribute to the local Future Farmers of America as a memorial.
