CEDAR RAPIDS - Funeral service was conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, for Peter E. Onstott, 58, who died Monday, July 12, in a Cedar Rapids hospital. He was a lifelong resident of the Mechanicsville and Cedar Rapids vicinities.

Service was held at the Beatty-Beurle chapter with Rev. D. A. Loferski, officiating. Burial was in Linnwood cemetery, where military services were held.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Jack K. Onstott, Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Grabbe, Anamosa, and Hazel Filter, White Bear Lake, Minn.; two brothers, Geroge A. Onstott, Anamosa, and Clifford Onstott, Princeton, Minn., and two grandchildren.

Mr. Onstott was a overseas veteran of World War I and an employee of the Cedar Rapids city water works department for 32 years.
