APOPLEXY IS FATAL
Mrs. C.Q. Miller Dies Suddenly at Her Home Tuesday Afternoon

Mrs. C.Q. Miller died very suddenly at her home Tuesday afternoon of apoplexy. When Mr. Miller left for the country in the morning and their daughter, Miss Helen Miller left for school, Mrs. Miller apparently was in her usual health. When Mr. Miller returned about 11 o'clock he found his wife slumped over a chair, unconscious. She never regained consciousness and passed away about 7:30 in the evening.
Mrs. Miller was born near Amana June 8, 1871, and was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry McClain. At the age of 8 she moved with her parents to a farm near Robins where she lived until the time of her marriage, March 23, 1898.
Mr. and Mrs. went to housekeeping on a farm 1 1/2 miles north east of the McClain farm, where they lived until they moved to Marion five years ago in March.
She leaves her husband and one daughter, Helen. A son died at the age of 4 years. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. R.L. Gilmore Miller, S.D., and Mrs. Jack De Russey of Long Beach, Calif. Three aunts, Mrs. Dell Merritt of Des Moines, Mrs. Hugh Gray of Greenfield, Mrs. Lou McClain, Des Moines, and one uncle, William Riley, of Walford, also survive.
