C.W. Bills, Former Marion Resident, Is Dead At Vinton
VINTON--C.W. Bills, 81, formerly of Marion and a resident of Vinton the last 10 years, died at his home here Saturday following an illness of several months. Born in Milford, N.Y., he came west with his parents in 1865. In 1879 he was married to Clara Carsner in Cedar Rapids. For several years they lived in the west, then in Marion. They were the parents of three sons who, with Mrs. Bills survive. The sons are Frank and Edward Bills of Marion and Carl Bills of Exeter, Mo.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at the Alcorn and Holland chapel by the Rev. Chester Diehl of the Baptist church. Burial will be in the Marion cemetery.
