The Marion Register Tuesday November 1, 1910
Miss Lula Morris was born near Marion, Linn County, Iowa, May 26th, 1890 and died at Vinton, South Dakota, October 25, 1910.
She moved with her father's family to Pierre, South Dakota, where she was united in marriage to Mr. Arthur Young, May 19th, 1908.
She was converted and united with the Methodist Episcopal church in the year 1906. She lived an earnest christian life until death claimed her. Her last words were, all is well I have no fear.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, her baby girl Caroline Luella, aged 14 months, 22 days, her father, mother, two brothers and three sisters, and many relatives and friends, who sadly said farewell to one so young so suddenly called away. A devoted wife, a faithful friend, an earnest christian is gone.
The funeral services were conducted by the pastor at Pierre, South Dakota, and a short service at the grave in Oak Shade, Marion, by Elder W.C. Thompson.
