LaEtta Udine Fink passed away at Village Ridge, Marion, Iowa, on July 19, 2021. She happily celebrated her 100th birthday on May 20, with new and old friends

and daughter, Darralee.

Udine was the only child

born to John and Maude Van Fossen in Toddville, Iowa, on May 20, 1921. She was married to Wayne Beauregard, and they were blessed with two children, Ron and Darralee.

Udine graduated as a beautician from the Paris Beauty School. She was also a member of the Camera Club and a special photographer for the Cedar Rapids Gazette over the years.

Then, after a divorce, she worked as a receptionist for Collins Radio Co. in the 1960s. There she met Vern Fink, who would become her husband soon after. Udine became the stepmother of Vern's three children, David, Dennis and Debbie. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive.

Udine was a self-taught unique artist. She excelled at drawing, painting and creating memorable gifts using her arts and crafts. She delighted in creating all types of greeting cards which were sold locally and gifted to friends.

Udine enjoyed being a member of Palette Pals in Springville in the company of other artists. She also had musical ability, playing in the Village Chimers group for many years. Udine also played the dulcimer in a musical trio with Marian Hoffman and Evelyn Hollister.

Udine's two husbands and son, Ron predeceased her. A private graveside service was held at Cedar Memorial.
