SPRINGVILLE - Funeral service was held for Mrs. Ed Michels who died at her home near Springville, Sunday, Jan. 26. She was Miss Malena Miner before her marriage to Ed Michels on Oct. 25, 1898.

Service was conducted at the Smykil Home for Funerals in Anamosa 2 p.m. last Tuesday. Rev. Edgar E. Walker, jr., officiated.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Michels, Springville, and by two brothers, Gilbert Miner and Algie Miner, both of Springville, and by several nieces and nephews.

Casket bearers were: John Steenhoek, Bill Steenhoek, Bud Robertson, Merle Eilers, J. E. Porter, all of Anamosa; and Victor Lawrence, Prairieburg.

Interment was in the Springville cemetery.
