Rites Saturday for W.J. Dye of Marion
Wesley J. Dye, route 3, Marion, an employe of the Linn county road department before his retirement, died Thursday following a long illness. Born Dec. 17, 1898, at Marion, he was married to Bernice Fedderson Nov. 8, 1930, in Cedar Rapids.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Achey of Marion; two brothers, Elmer and Charles Dye, both of Marion; two sisters, Mrs. Delbert Turner of Marion and Mary D. McCoy of Denver, Colo., and one granddaughter.
Mr. Dye was a member of Trojan lodge 548 AF and AM, Apollo Commandery 26 KT, and El Kahir Shrine.
Services: Chapel of Memories 3 p.m. Saturday. Burial: Cedar Memorial. Friends may call at the Turner chapel after 11 a.m. Friday.
